It becomes difficult to continue practicing if the resource material is boring. I chucked the pdf files for the same reason. CompTIA Security+ Mock tests online are quite nice in that matter. I was never out of surprise when practicing SY0-701 simulated tests. This made me score 830/900 in SY0-701.
