Competing with myself to score well

When i compete with others, my focus is just on the competition and nothing else. But when i compete with myself, my focus is just me and how to improve on the skills and abilities. Such was my stint with the recently concluded GMON exam. It was wonderful to be a premium member of the mock exams that resulted in such good score.
